Hi, I am an affiliate of the spider web marketing system and although it is FREE program that generates income for you without having to lift a finger, I want to show you how I market the program myself so that you can apply it to this program and any other program of your choice. I want to show you how I market affiliate programs because it works for me, but more importantly because I am fed up with gurus and super affiliates who claim to have made ridiculous sums of money almost magically but who always seem to remain evasive on how it is done. You can, if you choose just wait and see to find out whether I succeed or fail or you can join the program and apply the techniques I use for your own benefit. It is totally FREE to join and as I said, it will generate your income automatically, but I have heard this before and will not take any chances.

Letting People Know about Your Blog

Once you have written a blog, it is extremely essential that people know about it particularly if you are writing to blog to promote something else.

Although I cannot claim to be in the top ten of thousands of keywords in all the major search engines, I can claim to have top 10 results for many keywords and even No. 1 results for some and I can truthfully say that I do not do a great deal that quite a lot of people. I do not do so much because I use other marketing methods which suit me better, which I hope to get into once I have briefly touched upon this subject.

As you know the program that I am promoting is the spider web marketing system, but rather than just writing a review, I want to show you how I will promote it and the results I have obtained, all in a step by step guide. I want to show you this because I am little fed up with gurus and super affiliates who all seem to claim to make ridiculous sums of money at the press of the button and almost magically. Whilst it is highly likely that these people are earning such huge of money, I am fed up because they never seem to show how it is done and never offer the right tools so that we can duplicate their success. I am not a guru but i am showing you everything I do step by step because you will first hand if I succeed or not.

Anyway, let us get back to promotion of blogs.

For me, there are basically a few type of programs that I use. Once i have written a blog with unique content and relevant keywords, my aim is to generate links - As many good links as possible and I also want to advertise that I have published something new.

Social Book Marketing Sites

These are great. I am a member of a few of them. Not too many because to keep on book marking and updating can be extremely tedious and as I just want to do what I have to as quickly as possible, so that I can do other things (which I will advise about later), I have decided not to join any more. However the truth is that the more you join, the better your chances of reaching the top, so if you decide that I am wrong, you can choose to join much more. Social Book Marketing Sites are some of the most popular web pages on the Internet and it is a great way to publicize your blog and get to meet like minded people. Frankly I don't do much of the latter, but it is a great way to promote nevertheless.

Search engines love social book marketing sites and if you just bookmark your individual blogs (it is known as tagging) on a regular basis your blogs will quickly be picked up by the search engines. Be sure to add some links in your sites too, but in this regard, you can see that I have not added them. they do yield results, but because I work manually and have to do so many other things, I tend to leave them out. If you use word press you can get social book marketing plug ins.

Please note however that there is more to social marketing than simply bookmarking your sites. I promise to touch up on this subject in more detail later because if you do it properly you can tons of more traffic than simply being listed in the search engines and be sure it is not difficult to do and that it is FREE also.

My Yahoo, iGoogle, Windows Live, Ask

It is a good idea to add your rss feeds to the above because every time you write a new blog they will be picked up. It is also a quicker and sure way to be picked up by the search engines. The blogger RSS feed ends with atom.xml.

Google site Map, Analytics

Create a google sitemap using the html google code and imprint it into the template which will let google know of all your pages and not just the one you wrote last week for example. It is also useful because later on you will know which keywords people search to reach you and how you rank. The analytics is especially good because it helps you understand the behaviour of your visitors and the route they take after they visit your site. So if you have some links, you will need to know whether visitors follow those links or not.

Please note that you can also add your sitemaps to Yahoo.

Bumpzee

The next thing I normally do is to add a blog rush link to my site to syndicate. The more it is spread the more visitors I should get. But this time I am trying something different - I am going to use Bumpzee to see how it works out.

Pinging

I use a blog announcing software, which unfortunately is not FREE, but since I want to advise about only FREE methods of promotion, perhaps the best places you might consider pinging your blog is http://www.pingomatic.com or http://www.pingoat.com. To be honest, the blog announcing software is far too over hyped and doesn't yield any special results. I only use it because I paid and also because it saves me a little time especially if I want to do this again and again.

Automated Tag and Ping Software

There are many automated tag and ping software out there and they are sold at very high prices. I am sure they yield magical results, but the danger is that they do not do it in an honest way and as such you could end up being accused of spamming. Personally I avoid them even if they might well earn me more money. You have to decide for yourself what you intend to do. The methods I have shown is enough to get you in the search engines and if you do it right you can be sure of some top ten results too.
